Civil Structural Mechanical Electrical Commissioning Technology	Mass Mutual Financial Group Multi-Building Complex Enfield, CT BVH designed both the original complex of three buildings for The Phoenix from 1982 to 1988 and extensive renovations following the building's purchase by Mass Mutual. Providing mechanical and electrical design for the 6-story, 1,500-car parking garage, BVH also performed an HVAC system and a 3250-ton chiller plant study. Work included a life cycle cost analysis of an existing 30-year old steam turbine and electric chiller plant against new electric or absorption chillers. BVH developed an Excel spreadsheet, incorporating hourly load profiles and plant optimization, to simulate chiller plant conditions. BVH also designed the mechanical and electrical engineering systems for a 6-story, 1200-car parking garage.
