Civil Structural Mechanical Electrical Commissioning Technology	Bridgeport Superior Court & Center for Juvenile Matters Dual Function Facility Bridgeport, CT BVH is providing structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design for this new 85,000-SF facility. The building has two functions: a 48,000-SF Center for Juvenile Matters and a 37,000 square foot courthouse. The residential juvenile center includes a library, gymnasium, dining room, classrooms, detention areas, kitchen, and laundry rooms. During emergency situations, the building will operate without any interruption. Each detention area is equipped with a smoke evacuation system and throughout the winter, the HVAC systems are fed via a standby generator.
