The Loomis Chaffee School
Clark Science Center

Windsor, CT

A two-year, $10 million project, the modernization of Clark Science Center will refresh and enhance this key academic center, extending its productive life for the next 40 years. The chief elements of the modernization include eight lab/classrooms that reflect modern day teaching, new entrances to the north and east, a botanical walkway and a refurbished auditorium.

Building systems and lab services are being replaced with modern, energy efficient design, including new HVAC and lab exhaust with integrated controls, a new sprinkler and life-safety system, and classroom daylighting.
