Civil Structural Mechanical Electrical Commissioning Technology	City of Hartford Alfred E. Burr Elementary School Hartford, CT The Burr Elementary School project is an existing four level building with 90,000 SF of renovations to the academic areas, including classrooms, media center and computer, math, business & science technology labs. The 75,000-SF addition includes new offices, gymnasium, kitchen, art and music wing, kindergarten wing, and a cafetorium designed as a multi-purpose room. All classrooms have a state of the art technology system including VoIP phones, teacher workstations including multiple data, CATV and A/V ports to the video presentation monitor. Each room has multiple student workstations with desktop computers. BVH provided mechanical and electrical design services in addition to technology design, which included voice, data, CATV and A/V systems.
